Choosing option one means giving up the other ninety-nine possibilities.

　　Only by adhering to this one can you have infinite possibilities—this is the wisdom of choice.

　　However, people are multifaceted: emotional yet rational, fragile yet strong, self-controlled yet indulgent—this is human nature.

　　Going against human nature means knowing the price and upholding principles.

　　If you choose investment, you can't pursue emotional experiences, or you'll go bankrupt. If you choose literature, you can no longer indulge in dreams, you can't have too many material demands, or you can't create dreams. If you choose business, you can't recklessly retreat into your personal world, ignoring everyone, or all relationships will be destroyed, and you'll be seen as an unreliable scoundrel. If you choose to stand tall, you lose the right to live a life of hedonism; the world's clamor is irrelevant to you. If you choose to face life alone, you lose the right to cry; if you choose to trust someone, you must bear the risk of tears.

　　People always look at the sea from this side of the mountain, like the monkey who picked up the watermelon but lost the peach—how arrogant that monkey was, thinking there were endless good things waiting for it to choose from.

　　However, this dimension can only be crossed through one's own efforts and self-control. Rushing to pick the next peach won't take us to a new level; what we can pick there might not even be food.

　　Maturity is understanding and acknowledging the cost, and consistently adhering to one's goals. On this side of the mountain, one shouldn't fantasize about the ocean, but rather focus on doing this one thing well, this choice.

　　A person can only have one way of life, no matter how varied, only one truly belongs to you.

　　Either strive for one thing, or possess ninety-nine illusions.

　　Countless people in the world possess ninety-nine illusions; they make choices every day, fantasizing about their future: "If I had… I would…" Be

　　more mature, more rational. We only possess a pitifully small one, and we only have this one in our lifetime. Figure out what you want. Life is a huge sacrifice, killing many illusions, and never giving up on the one you've chosen.
